Mares — Fayda Bint Waziri

Fayda is the second filly out of Fadeemah which has been born at alhawa. Her sire, Ashri's Waziri (2003), belongs to the Sheykh Obeyd sub-group of the Straight Egyptians. Chantal Chekroun who was at the time looking for a young Sheykh Obeyd stallion, chose him as a weanling at the stud-farm of Katja DeBacker in Belgium. In 2009 and 2010 he performed in endurance in France, trained and ridden by the team of  Olivier Labomme. The results Waziri achieved correspond to the conditions of the stallion performance test through endurance in Germany. He has a wonderful, noble and people loving disposition. Additionally he has lots of Arabian type and presence. He has a high percentage of Babson blood (62.5%), but among his ancestors you will also find Ansata Ibn Halima and Tuhotmos. His tail female line traces via Bint Bint Sabbah to El Dahma. 
Fayda resembles him a lot, which is the reason why we added “Bint Waziri” to her name. We are extremely happy about the birth of this lovely filly and we are looking forward to seeing her growing. Above all, we hope that she will stay healthy and joyful!
